Skate Sessions

Roll up for an afternoon shred session at the House of Vans Johannesburg custom-built skatepark, and take part in a ‘tricks for cash’ competition.



ANG's style and sound is most appropriately defined as Booty Bass. Hip Hop and R'nB influenced bass music, with infectious rhythms and undeniably danceable beats ranging from 4x4 to Bmore and global club music. As a promoter, artist manager and online radio host, her energy is deeply invested in the South African electronic music industry and this passion directly influences the confidence and execution of her stage performance.


Vocalist/songwriter Manteiga and producer Spoek Mathambo form part of the renowned South African electronic music collective, BATUK, which was originally founded in 2015. The group from Johannesburg are back with a new album and stage show, a vibrant tribute to great women in African history, which will see Manteiga enfusing her skills and roots in theatre into the new project.

Bye Beneco

Hailing from Johannesburg, South Africa, this eclectic dream-pop sensation is making waves both locally and abroad. With a sound that stems from various styles, they refer to their opus as somewhat of a "musical ADD". Bye Beneco's live shows are as much a visual journey as they are musical.

Culture Abuse

Culture Abuse is an American punk band who's power pop melodies collide with punk grit, garage rock swagger meets hardcore aggression, and there's even an upstroke or two. However, they never give the listener enough to definitively put them in a box.

DBN Gogo

DBN Gogo has become a respected DJ who has gained an audience not just through her DJing skills but her ability to mix main stream and underground house music. She has always been passionate about music. The two genres she seems to have the deepest connection with are house and electronic music.

Desmond & The Tutus

Desmond & The Tutus have been scare-crowing across the world’s stages with their unique, some might call it niche, brand of kwela-indie-punk for just over ten years. But to call it niche would be entirely missing the point, the Tutus are more shape-shifters than niche.

DJ Speedsta

Hailing from the Vaal, the hip-hop hitmaker, DJ Producer, TV host, and radio presenter has come a long way before reaching the pinnacle of his career in the entertainment industry.

Fanele Grace

After being taught how to mix by her house producer and DJ brother in 2014, Johannesburg-based DJ Fanele Grace's passion for house music began, but she quickly found her niche in gqom.

Gemini Major

The South African record producer, singer and songwriter does not need an intro. Its clear that he's been very active within the SA Hip Hop industry in the last 3 years and he's now at a stage in his life where the only direction is up as he strives to cement his legacy in the music industry.

Gina Jeanz

Gina Jeanz is a creative powerhouse who’s quickly establishing herself as a producer in South Africa. She is not only a producer but also dabbles in being a DJ, graphic designer, model and an all-round stylish person, now based in Cape Town.


K-$ hails from Cape Town’s lively Southern Suburbs. Since he was young, he has been cultivating a large interest in the musical arts and has taught himself to play various instruments. This has expanded not only his love for music but also his understanding of it.


Johannesburg based house DJ, Lubonk is quickly establishing himself as one of the most sought after DJ's in the city. He began his career as a DJ after being encouraged by a group of friends to do what he loved. He has since played many sets across clubs in Johannesburg.

Morena Leraba

Morena Leraba is a Mosotho musician and shepherd from of Ha-Mojela in Mafeteng district, located south of Lesotho's capital Maseru. Leraba’s music (especially lyrics) is deeply rooted in Lesotho's traditional music, poetry, and it’s sub-genre, Famo.


The Johannesburg duo is made up of friends, Neo and Thube, who have a passion for using music that bring people together. The sounds they have cultivated is new and futuristic.


PatricKxxLee breaks onto the Soundcloud Rap scene in 2016 and quickly becomes the posterboy for a broken generation in South Africa. Rebelling against his strict parents, he drops out of university in pursuit of his music career, and grows a loyal fan base for his “Punk Trap” sound, which he often complements with rock elements.

Rich the Kid

Rich the Kid formed part of the groundbreaking trap scene, starting out with collaborations with the likes of Migos, Young Thug, and others to starting his own label just a few years later. His style is described as the dark, highly pressurized flows of other icons of Atlanta hip-hop.

Riky Rick

Riky Rick is a South African rapper, songwriter, actor and record producer. He is known for his affluent signature style and his love for the local fashion scene. He has been in the industry since 2008 and is in the forefront of the Hip Hop game today.

Roastin' Records

DJ Wentzel has been spreading good music since 2012 by selling vinyl records he played at the coffee shop where he worked. Today, ROASTIN' RECORDS is a dynamic Record Label, Record Store and DJ Crew based in Cape Town, South Africa.

Slice Frederico

Slice Frederico is a Durban born South African Hip Hop DJ that started out his career in the year 2013, he is a self- taught DJ and has improved ever since, merging every day to be one of the best DJs in South Africa and the world has ever known. His musical aspirations started out when he was still in college having a few friends who were always about music.

Stilo Magolide

Stilo Magolide is one of the coolest rappers in Mzansi. From a mouth full of grills and a closet full of shoes, he is one to be reckoned with on and off the stage. With a growing fan base and an Independent solo career, Stilo is coming for everything they said he couldn't.


As a thrash punk band started by members of Skate Society Soweto, TCIYF have their sights set on redefining and dismantling the stereotypes around punk culture. The four piece share their daily struggles and triumphs through their gritty sounds and sensibility.

Themba Lunacy

Themba Lunacy is a DJ who plays a variety of genres, mostly Hip Hop and Neo-soul but also loves playing other genres such as Trip Hop, Acid Jazz, Dub, Down Tempo and Afro Beat. Lunacy started Djying in late 2011 and has never looked back ever since, growing every day to be one of best DJs South Africa and the world has ever seen.

Uncle Partytime

Uncle Partytime is a Jo’burg based DJ that specialises in playing hip-hop and Gqom. His DJ persona was born out of the scene in Braamfontein, allowing him to be plugged into the sonic shifts that his audience craves. He carries with him an ability to fuel the energy in the crowd and convert the dance floor into a transcendental space guided by the beat.

Zoo Lake

Noise rock quartet Zoo Lake formed in 2015 in Johannesburg South Africa. The longtime friends utilize a shape-shifting arsenal of urgent rhythms with angular noisy guitars, pulsing basslines and melodic lyrical fragments to emit a sonic onslaught somewhere between stochastic no-wave and hypnotic post-punk.
